Who am I?
I’m Kiya Wilson, The Travel Health Coach™. My journey in health and wellness began in 2007 when I became a nurse. Early in my career, as a runner and fitness enthusiast, I realized my true passion was in prevention, not just treatment.
This insight led me to a mission in 2010, to empower women with sustainable lifestyle strategies that last a lifetime.
However, life took an unexpected turn in 2017. Despite my professional background, I found myself struggling with personal health challenges.
I was there.
I gained 75 pounds, was diagnosed with high blood pressure, and experienced a significant loss of self-confidence.
It was a humbling time.
I traveled sick and tired.
I became a sedentary global traveler with poor eating habits. On trips I was often sick, couldn’t walk 2 blocks without getting short of breath, had bags filled with clothes of all sizes, constant aches and pains, and I dreaded the mirror.

But with determination and innovation, I developed a solution that led to a transformative weight loss of over 50 pounds in just 9 months.
It was then that I embraced the avatar 'Kiya reRuns,' as my commitment to restart and reclaim my wellness.

I recently scrapped a group weight loss program, because it didn’t feel aligned with my purpose. I have lots of friends in the global travel community and we've shared those moments of having to catch our breath after a short walk up a hilly road, of luggage that just keeps getting heavier because who the heck knows what’s going to fit from week to week, not to mention the aches and pains that come from carrying those heavy bags across the terminal.
